JMES are partnering with an established, diversified APAC alternative investment business to support the hiring of a Vice President / Senior Vice President in their Corporate Credit investment team based in Sydney.
With tenure and a proven track record of providing flexible, tailored financing solutions across the APAC region, the manager has gained significant traction in Private Credit investing over a number of years and has a deep capital pool from which to deploy. They have the benefit of a regional footprint with local and agile investment decision making capability. To support this new dedicated strategy focused on corporate credit opportunities across APAC, they are seeking a (new) Vice President / Senior Vice President to work with the Head of Corporate Credit to help drive the investment pipeline and deployment.
Successful applicants will have the following skills, experience and abilities to:
• manage all aspects of the investment process including idea generation, due diligence, financial analysis, deal structuring and presenting to the Investment Committee
• work in an APAC focused role with a high level of autonomy and client engagement
• be a collaborative team player with strong communication and presentation skills
• have gained 4+ years of prior private debt investing experience gained from a Fund, ideally with some international exposure
• demonstrate a proven transaction execution background gained in a banking / advisory environment prior to their buy side experience
This represents a rare opportunity to join an entrepreneurial, dynamic alternative investment manager as they build a new strategy and support the leadership team. The role could also be based in Singapore or Hong Kong.
