·            Private Capital Investing & Advisory

·            Access to Highly Experienced Leadership Team

·            Broad Investing Mandate

Our client is a corporate advisor and investment partner to high-quality private capital investors and businesses. Led by a highly experienced senior team, the firm operates a distinctive "merchant banking" model within the Australian M&A landscape, acting as an advisor while also investing alongside their clients, ensuring long-term value creation. As the firm continues to grow, they are seeking an Associate to join their team in Sydney which will see the successful candidate work very closely with the senior team and a range of Funds on a day to day basis.

As an Associate, you'll support the team with all elements of advisory deal execution including modelling and leading due diligence workstreams and will be able to work autonomously through a deal process. You will support the team with the identification and assessment of potential assets and provide key investment analysis and diligence to ensure alignment with the investment mandate, engaging effectively with management teams and investors. This is an exceptional opportunity for an Associate keen to build their exposure to Private Equity and will give the ability to see a broad universe of investment opportunities and mandates from VC / Growth Capital through to later stage, whilst also maintaining their M&A deal experience through advisory deal execution.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience within either an investment bank or leading independent corporate advisory firm.
  • Demonstrable track record in a deal environment with strong financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Passion for investing and deep curiosity around business and industry
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Humble & down-to-earth attitude

The firm are also seeking to hire an Associate that will focus on Investor Relations / Investment Client Support. This will be a varied role that will suit a candidate passionate about working in the Funds Management industry and who will enjoy a role that combines fund operations and key investment relationship management. Successful candidates will have 2-5 years' experience and could have been gained from a range of backgrounds including advisory, transaction services, investor relations, fund operations, as examples.

Applicants must have full working rights for Australia to be considered.
