These roles offer a very unique and rare opportunity to join a highly successful investing team as they launch a new strategy together. JMES have been mandated to add two key individuals at the Investment Manager and Investment Associate level to join this highly respected group of investors. Supporting a well resourced, collegiate team these key hires will play an active role in the future strategy and will help to drive the platform to its next phase. As growth focused private equity investors who will make meaningful investments, typically between $30mn and $100mn, the team takes a partnership style approach to investing, working with management teams to unlock value creation strategies and scale their businesses, whilst maintaining prudent financial discipline and frameworks.
As an Investment Manager and Investment Associate, you will be involved across all facets of Private Equity including;
- Active due diligence of new investment opportunities, delivering deep analysis across a range of sectors and markets
- Playing a lead role in deal execution, including valuation, modelling and process management
- Actively work on key initiatives across the Fund's existing portfolio
- Working with key stakeholders and senior team members to ensure portfolio performance
To be successful, applicants at the Investment Manager level will ideally have gained some private capital experience to complement their corporate advisory or management consulting experience, and at the Investment Associate level, successful applicants will have gained 2-4 years' experience in corporate advisory or management consulting. Central to success will be a clear passion for investing, natural curiosity, ability to work in a collaborative and high performing team and first class communication skills.
