JMES have been mandated by an established, diversified APAC alternative investment business to hire an Investment Associate to join their dedicated corporate capital solutions business.
As a newly established strategy within an existing platform, the mandate will allow the team to identify and execute corporate capital investment opportunities across a flexible capital structure. The firm’s tenure and proven track record of providing tailored financing solutions across the APAC region make this a highly attractive platform with the benefit of local and agile investment decision making capability. The role will provide real exposure to senior team members, a flat and collaborative environment and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to investment outcomes.
Key responsibilities of the role will include;
· Support senior team members in sourcing and evaluating corporate capital solutions opportunities across APAC.
· Perform detailed financial analysis, modelling, valuation work, and industry research.
· Assist in due diligence processes, including reviewing company information
· Participate in transaction execution, including helping prepare investment memos, coordinating with legal and external advisors, and supporting negotiations of key terms.
· Monitor portfolio investments and deliver materials for investor communications.
· Contribute to a collaborative, high‑performing team culture
Successful applicants will have ideally gained 3-4 years’ corporate advisory experience in a global investment bank and will be looking for the opportunity to build a career in an investing environment, with international exposure, a flat structure and flexible investment mandate. Candidates will be detail orientated with strong critical thinking capabilities and the ability to interface with a range of senior stakeholders both within the firm and externally.
