Our client is an Australian-founded global private equity manager providing innovative solutions for institutional, Family Office and UHNW investors. Their investor base spans Australia/New Zealand and Asia and the team has a mandate to invest into some of the best Funds globally as well as co-invest alongside them. They specialise in unique opportunities and their US-based Investment team cover the full spectrum of private capital: buyout, venture, secondaries, and private credit. With a strong pipeline, they are now looking to expand their New Jersey office with the hire of an Analyst.
In this role, you'll support the team on all aspects of the investment lifecycle, including due diligence on fund and co-investment opportunities, financial modelling and valuation, contributing to IC materials and discussions, preparing marketing materials and performance analysis and providing regular market updates. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone early in their career to learn how to be a multi-skilled investor across a range of asset classes and direct investing, with the ability to see best in class investors in the US and beyond, with regular travel across the USA, Europe, and Australia.
The successful candidate will have:
- 1-2 years’ experience in transactional M&A (independent advisory / CA firms or Investment Banks) or from private capital investing
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Highly motivated and driven individual with a demonstrable interest in investing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Humble and down-to-earth attitude
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
