- Opportunity to work with an iconic business with a truly global standing
- Design, drive & execute business critical growth and strategic initiatives
- Two Year Fixed Term Contract
My client is an iconic, sophisticated investor-backed infrastructure business with ambitious growth plans to cement itself as a global leader in its respective field.
The business is uniquely positioned for growth in spite of the current, tougher market conditions and is looking to grow its presence proactively via strategic investments into new & existing business lines and ventures, along with value maximisation initiatives across its existing value chain. As a part of this growth trajectory, there is now an exciting opportunity for a technically astute and commercially savvy Senior Analyst Corporate Finance to join their team based in Sydney. Please note that this is a fixed term contract role for two (2) years with the strong possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right person.
The focus of the role will be to provide analytical, modelling and commercial expertise towards the execution of the firm’s high priority strategic, investment and growth initiatives. In support of these initiatives, the successful candidate’s key responsibilities will be:
- Financial evaluation of the above initiatives through ground-up financial modelling and financial analysis
- Building business/investment cases in relation to potential growth opportunities to assess financial impact and find an optimal investment solution
- Running due diligence, including the review & preparation of legal/transaction documentation on the firm’s capital projects and other major developments
- Financial evaluation of the firm’s exiting portfolio of investments, projects and developments
- Stakeholder engagement; developing collaborative relationships with internal & external stakeholders which will include the preparation and presentation of quality board papers and investment packs to the Shareholders and Executive Leadership Team
You will bring approximately 3–5 years' experience from investment banking, Big 4 Transaction Advisory/Financial Modelling, or corporate finance within a high-performing organisation. Infrastructure or capital-intensive sector experience is advantageous but not essential. You will demonstrate strong technical financial modelling and valuation capabilities, commercial acumen, and genuine desire to drive impact in a dynamic, growing business. The confidence and presence to partner with and present to senior stakeholders will set you apart.
Applicants must have full working rights in place for Australia to be considered for this role.
