Our client is a significant Australian investor & financier with an enviable investment track record in recent years and has deployed billions towards financing developments across a range of industry sectors including diversified infrastructure, renewable/clean energy, real estate & property, agribusiness and natural resources.
They are currently seeking a Director to join their Executive Team. This is a rare opportunity to contribute and support real asset projects that directly support economic growth, job creation and long-term development across Australia.
As a Director, you will play an important role in the origination, evaluation, negotiation and execution of transactions as the key Resources sector lead. You will identify and actively seek new financing and investment opportunities, undertaking analysis and preparation of investment papers & transaction documentation; and presenting opportunities to the Board. This is a senior role within the broader project finance & investment team, with management responsibilities and acting as a senior contact in the WA market.
You will bring 10+ years’ relevant experience in a financial institution or similar, with a proven track record in originating and executing Resources transactions. Through this experience, you will be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of financing concepts, a strong relationship and networking capability and the requisite analytical skills. It is expected that you will have excellent communication skills and ability to build long lasting relationships.
