Our client is a leading global bank with a dominant presence across the APAC region. Following recent years of exceptional growth within their business, the Corporate & Investment Banking team is expanding its Sydney team.
They are seeking an experienced Vice President to join their Real Estate Finance team. This role will focus on managing and growing a portfolio of sophisticated clients - listed and unlisted Corporates, Sponsors, and Fund Managers - and leading financing transactions for the same.
Key responsibilities will include directly managing clients and sophisticated transactions - including preparation of credit papers, negotiation of financing terms, documentation, and due diligence coordination. You will be expected to oversee and review complex financial models, sensitivities and asset appraisals, and manage all new transactions to completion. Further, you will maintain positive and pro-active client relationships with project sponsors, borrowers, and advisors to materially contribute to the firm’s financial performance. As a senior team member, you will also provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff, supervising their deliverables and assisting the Head of on strategic initiatives as necessary.
You will bring 7-10 years of related experience within Real Estate Finance and/or Corporate Banking, with a proven track record in client coverage and onboarding strategic institutional partners. Your strong credit and risk management skills, high level of business acumen, and ability to drive cross-selling opportunities across a global matrix are key to your success. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, alongside tertiary degree in Finance, Banking, Business or a related discipline.
