A high-growth alternative investment manager with approximately $5 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its expanding finance team.
Following significant growth across new fund launches and diversified alternative investment strategies, the business is continuing to scale its operations in Sydney. This newly created role sits within a high-performing finance function and offers direct exposure to senior leadership and investment decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Modelling to support commercial decisions across fund and corporate entity
- General ledger oversight, accruals and reconciliations
- Coordination of external audit processes and liaison with service providers
- Support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Continuous improvement of financial systems, controls and reporting frameworks
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across finance and investment teams
You will be CA (or equivalent) qualified and trained within a chartered firm. You will have since developed financial accounting experience within industry, ideally with exposure to funds management, asset management, private markets or alternative investments. Ambitious and proactive by nature, you are motivated by performance-based progression and keen to continue developing your career within a high-growth environment.
