• Be part of a values-led team that balances excellence with humility & fun
Role
Our client is on a mission to build Australia’s leading platform for residential services. Uniting the country’s top operators and empowering technicians to deliver exceptional service to homeowners, while preserving the legacy of great local businesses. Backed by a long-term growth mindset and strong investment support. They’re rapidly scaling — and looking for an exceptional Head of People Operations to help lead the charge.
This is a rare opportunity to work directly with the CEO and Chairman to build best-in-class people systems, with a sharp focus on recruiting, onboarding, culture and leadership development across a growing national footprint.
Responsibilities
You'll take ownership of the end-to-end people strategy — from hiring GMs and scaling technician teams to implementing HR systems and driving culture across operating companies.
Key objectives will include:
• Designing & running high-velocity recruitment engines for GMs & field roles
• Building & leading a high-performing people operations team
• Embedding company values through scalable onboarding, performance & culture frameworks
• Leading HR systems implementation (HRIS, ATS, payroll, etc.)
• Serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership
• Ensuring compliance, operational excellence & workforce planning at scale
• Implementing data-driven processes to improve hiring quality retention & engagement
Experience You’ll Bring
We're looking for a builder – someone who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, and sees ambiguity as a feature, not a bug. You bring both strategic HR leadership and hands-on execution experience, ideally within field services, blue-collar, or multi-site operations.
You’ll likely have:
• A proven track record building & scaling recruitment engines
• Experience hiring & managing recruiters & people operations teams
• Strong HR experience across performance, organisational design & coaching
• A systems mindset – you love building playbooks, dashboards & scalable processes
• Experience working with distributed workforces & executive teams
• A values-driven, low-ego, team-first approach
Applicants must have full working rights in place for Australia to be considered for this opportunity.
