Business Development Manager – Wholesale Advisory Channels

Our client is a fast growing Alternative Asset Manager with a strong track record in delivering return for their investors, which include Institutional & Wholesale. We are seeking a experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to lead and grow their presence across the wholesale advisory landscape. This role will be pivotal in driving distribution and capital raising efforts by building deep, trusted relationships with private banks, wealth and financial advisers, dealer groups, and research houses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting wholesale advisory firms, including IFA networks, family offices, and dealer groups

• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive asset flows into the firm’s alternative investment products

• Present and position complex investment strategies in a clear, compelling manner

• Conduct regular roadshows, webinars, and one-on-one meetings to educate and engage advisers

• Provide market and competitor insights to help shape product development and positioning

• Collaborate closely with internal teams including Investment, Marketing, and Compliance

Required Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of business development or distribution experience within funds management, ideally with exposure to alternatives or private markets

• Proven track record of raising capital through wholesale channels and delivering on sales targets

• Deep networks and strong reputation across the wholesale advisory community

• Highly articulate, confident, and capable of translating complex products into compelling narratives

• Self-starter with a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach
