About the Opportunity
Investment Associate & Investment Manager, Private Equity

• Mid-market buyout focus

• Distinctive, proven investment strategy

• Outsized returns and top quartile performance for over 20 years

• Associate & VP/Investment Manager roles

Opportunity to join a prominent private equity firm operating across Australia and New Zealand, with a proven track record of successful investments, top quartile investment performance and a strategic investment strategy targeting stable, cash-generating businesses that remain robust through changing economic cycles. Our client is proud of their strong fund heritage and has continuously attracted capital from sophisticated institutional investors. With the upcoming close of their next fund, they are now looking to hire an Investment Associate and Investment Manager/Vice President to join their team in Sydney.

Investment Associate

The Investment Associate will work closely with the senior investment team on a range of activities, including the evaluation of new investment opportunities, conducting research, developing recommendations, participating in commercial discussions and deal execution work. The successful candidate will have ~3-5 years of relevant experience within private equity, investment banking or corporate advisory. They will have strong financial modelling and financial analysis capabilities and demonstrate strong integrity and excellent written and communication skills.

Investment Manager/Vice President

The Investment Manager/Vice President will lead activities across the full investment lifecycle, from originating appropriate investment opportunities, building investment cases, managing financial due diligence and managing advisors and ensuring the successful completion of deals. The role will also work closely with portfolio companies to ensure delivery of strategic and operational objectives. The successful individual will likely have ~6-9 years’ experience coming from private equity, investment banking or corporate advisory.

Applicants must have full working rights in place for Australia to be considered for this opportunity.
