Our client is a clean energy market leader focussing on the provision of energy storage. With access to the latest technology, they are future focussed to ensure they maintain their market leading position.
Having recently obtained significant capital backing from a blue-chip strategic partner they have significant momentum as a group and the desire to expand the investment team.
Accordingly - they are looking to hire a key individual in Sydney to help drive the firm’s project finance, strategic investment and acquisitions mandate.
This role will act as the key interface with external financial, legal, tax, accounting and structuring advisors to secure project finance, as well as ensuring a coherent, bankable and well-articulated risk-return proposition is presented to the board. In addition you will support the CEO/CFO/CIO in equity raising, identifying new pools of capital, strategic M&A opportunities and other ad hoc initiatives.
Candidates will ideally have between 8 – 15 years or more of project finance experience - ideally with exposure to energy, infrastructure, resources or similar sectors. You could be currently working in an investment fund/platform/relevant corporate or potentially at a bank or advisory firm. You will be an energised and collaborative self-starter with sound judgment, strong attention to detail and the motivation to make a demonstrable difference. Battery energy storage system (BESS) experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
