Corporate Finance Manager – PE-backed Energy Transition Platform

Our client is a private equity backed renewable energy transition platform that owns, develops, operates and invests into large scale assets and projects.

With significant capital inflow, the investment team is looking to expand and is looking to hire a Corporate Finance Manager to join their team. This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

The role will entail:

· Ownership, maintenance and customisation of the corporate model incorporating the whole of business portfolio to support the valuation process, budgeting, and management reporting

· Extensive modelling to support the appraisal of greenfield development projects, brownfield expansions, bolt-on acquisitions as well as management of existing portfolio financing

· Preparation of financial and operational business cases for decision making on potential development projects

· Assist with various project finance activities and analysis of asset capex investments

· Support commercial, development, and procurement teams as required

· Prepare presentations for key internal and external stakeholders, including lenders, senior executives and the investment committee

 

The successful candidate will likely bring the following competencies and experience:

· ~3-6 years of related experience from Big 4 valuations/modelling, corporate development, corporate finance or investment banking/corporate advisory

· Strong financial modelling, project management and execution skills

· Solid communication and stakeholder management skills

· University qualifications in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics and/ or Law

· Experience across renewables, energy and other infrastructure like sectors is preferable
