My client is an iconic, sophisticated investor-backed infrastructure & transportation business with ambitious growth plans to cement itself as a global leader in its respective field. The business is well-positioned for growth by upscaling and elevating its product offering. In support of these growth initiatives, they are looking to hire a Commercial Analyst to join their team based in Sydney. This role is an initial 12-month contract with potential to extend further.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically astute Commercial Analyst to drive commercial insights that will help ensure the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of the business. Experience in aviation, transport, logistics, infrastructure or similar industry highly desired.
· Detailed analysis and modelling around the utilisation of allocated capacity, identifying risks and optimisation opportunities
· Review seasonal and portfolio changes, highlighting material shifts and strategic impacts
· Deliver robust data analysis, benchmarking, and actionable commercial insights
· Prepare clear, executive-ready reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate insights and recommendations
· Manage stakeholder relationships, coordinating data requests and compliance reporting
· Partner cross-functionally to support strategic and ad hoc commercial initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
· 2-4 years of experience in a commercial analysis, FP&A, scheduling, or network development roles
· Strong modelling and analysis using Excel & Power BI
· Experience within aviation, transport, logistics, infrastructure or similar setting highly desired
