We are seeking a Vice President to join the loan syndications team in Sydney, distributing exposures to a broad investor base across the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for pricing, structuring, and underwriting a range of non-flow (project/asset finance) and flow (corporate/leveraged) loans originated in Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with the product teams throughout the deal process and will collaborate with the APAC team to support investor engagement through primary and extended syndication processes.
You will have a minimum of 6 years’ experience of relevant banking experience, within a loan syndications or capital markets team, and hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. You will have a strong understanding of the Australian and New Zealand loan syndication markets and the key investors in asset classes including project finance (energy, renewables, infrastructure, digital infrastructure, real estate, metals and mining), fund financing, corporate and leveraged loans. A proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and internal teams is essential, alongside excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
