A leading independent advisory and investment firm is seeking an ambitious Analyst/Associate to join its high-performing Corporate Advisory team. Established more than a decade ago, this highly regarded firm has built a reputation as a long-term trusted partner to boards, executives and shareholders. With deep capital markets expertise and a track record advising on some of the largest and most complex M&A, financing and capital management transactions in the Australian market, the firm offers a unique platform for professionals looking to develop their careers in a highly respected advisory environment.
As an Advisor, you will take on a client-facing role supporting both origination and execution of transactions. This includes exposure to mergers and acquisitions, debt, equity and hybrid capital structuring, capital management, and risk advisory. Working directly with senior advisors and clients, you will contribute to delivering bespoke solutions on complex and high-profile mandates.
The role requires building strong client relationships, developing sophisticated financial models that incorporate funding, valuation, tax and accounting considerations, and preparing board-quality presentations and reports. You will also play a key role in due diligence, structuring, negotiations and contributing to idea generation across the firm’s advisory offering.
To be successful, you will hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline, and bring 2–6 years of experience in corporate advisory, capital markets, transaction services, financial modelling or M&A. Experience gained within a Big 4 firm, boutique advisor or investment bank will be highly regarded. Strong technical and analytical skills, excellent communication, sound commercial judgment and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential.
This is an outstanding opportunity to accelerate your career, working on market-leading transactions alongside highly experienced professionals in a supportive, independent and entrepreneurial advisory environment.
