About the Opportunity
Director, Debt Advisory
  • Global Advisory Firm
  • Origination, Structuring & Execution
  • Pathway to Partnership

This leading global advisory firm is seeking a Director to join their dynamic and high-performing Debt Advisory team. The team is responsible for providing corporate debt advisory and independent capital management advice involving the structuring, optimisation and procurement of debt and capital instruments for Australian and global clients.

This role represents an exceptional career opportunity for a seasoned Debt Advisory or Capital Markets professional. As a Director, you will work closely with senior leadership and major clients to deliver strategic, independent advice across complex and high-profile transactions. A key focus of this role is origination, and you will bring a proven track record in originating, sourcing and developing new client opportunities and mandates. You will also play a significant role in structuring and execution, applying your deep understanding of the debt markets to develop tailored, commercially grounded solutions as part of a diverse team of experienced professionals.

Tertiary qualified in Commerce, Economics, Business or a related discipline, you will bring 8 - 12 years’ experience in institutional or investment banking, corporate/debt advisory or related fields, preferably with exposure to project finance, leveraged finance, structured finance or investment banking. You will demonstrate strong technical capability across debt (loan and bond) products and possess hands-on experience in deal structuring, credit analysis, financial modelling and the negotiation of debt and capital funding documentation. Commercially astute and execution-focused, you will be confident managing transactions end-to-end, leading workstreams and contributing to business development and broader practice growth.

You must have full working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
