My client is an iconic, sophisticated investor-backed infrastructure business with ambitious growth plans to cement itself as a global leader in its respective field. The business is well-positioned for growth with favourable tailwinds and the upscaling and elevation of its product offering. In support of a program of strategic growth initiatives, they are looking to hire a Manager – Commercial & Corporate Finance to join their team based in Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically astute and commercially savvy Manager to drive specific growth initiatives that will help ensure the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of the business.

The Manager – Corporate & Corporate Finance will be a key contributor to value creation within the business through analysis, development of commercial strategies, and execution and management of commercial agreements. Duties include:

· Evaluate and optimise growth initiatives through detailed financial modelling and financial analysis

· Building business/investment to assess financial impact and viability

· Running due diligence, including the review & preparation of legal/transaction documentation on the firm’s capital projects and partnerships

· Financial evaluation of the firm’s existing portfolio of investments, projects and partnerships

· Developing collaborative relationships with internal & external stakeholders to ensure outcomes are commercial and profitable

· Preparation and presentation of quality board papers, investment packs, and other briefing materials for Shareholders and Executive Leadership Team

The ideal candidate will have:

· ~2-6 years of experience from M&A consulting, project finance, corporate development/ corporate finance, Big 4 M&A Advisory, boutique corporate advisory, or investment banking

· Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

· Exposure with commercial agreements

· Strong corporate PowerPoint presentation and preparation abilities

· Experience in a real assets business a bonus
