Our client is a highly regarded international bank, with a well-established and successful Australian business. They are currently looking to add an Associate or Vice President to their Leveraged Finance team in Sydney.
As an Associate/VP you will be part of a small team dedicated to supporting leveraged finance transactions (including LBO, unitranche and TLB’s), as well as principal financing. You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with sponsors/issuers, as well as internal and external stakeholders. Working directly for a highly experienced Director and Managing Director, this role represents an opportunity to be part of high-profile market transactions, with the ability to work across and support a broad range of transactions locally and globally, utilising the banks global network.
To be successful, you will have between 4-7 years’ experience working in a Leveraged Finance, Financial Sponsors or other related team at a bank or Private Credit firm. You will have completed relevant tertiary education in Finance, Economics or similar. CFA Level 1/2/3 is highly desirable but not a prerequisite. A solid understanding of credit analysis and financial modelling is crucial, as is deal execution and documentation experience.
You need to be a confident communicator who enjoys working in a fast-paced energetic global banking environment with high-level client and transaction exposure.
