Our client is a high-performing Venture Capital firm investing in and building long-term partnerships with founders and businesses across the ANZ region. The firm has a uniquely rigorous and disciplined investment style that has allowed it to perform in the top quartile for its funds globally, and as they continue to grow they are looking to hire an Investment Associate into their team in Sydney.
As an Associate you’ll be intellectually curious with a passion for finding the next great startup and will be looking to work with and learn from a successful VC team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to become an investment practitioner and develop a long-term career in venture capital, working closely with Partners and wider investment team on live deals from day one.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting due diligence workstreams, technical modelling and analysis, and preparing investment recommendations and IC material.
- Supporting founders and portfolio companies, contributing to growth and value-creation efforts
- Support the management of AI agents and a toolkit to support pipeline and instruct investment processing activities.
- Representing the firm at events, and beginning to build your own voice through content and community building
- Coachable to the firm more broadly
Successful candidates will have:
- 2-4 years’ experience gained from either corporate advisory (including transaction services), from strategy consulting, corporate development or from another investing environment
- A genuine and demonstrated interest in venture capital, a clear intellectual curiosity about what makes a great investment and a desire to build networks and relationships with Founders
- Strong financial modelling & analysis capabilities, with excellent written & communication skills
- Hustle and ability to work efficiently as part of a small team, where you are comfortable challenging one another’s ideas
Applicants must have full working rights in place for Australia to be considered for this opportunity.
