JMES recently had the pleasure of hosting some of the important figures in the growing community of private equity investment origination.
Thank you to Tim Haden, Michael Johnston, Holly Stiles, Beau Davenport, Michael Bryan and Jack Hammett.
Investment origination is clearly an increasingly valued, discreet function that funds are considering establishing, whilst those funds that were early adopters are seeking to expand.
Subjects covered included the importance of managing the various deal channels (adviser vs direct to market), the need to have origination aligned and ideally embedded within the investment team and the importance of the CRM system amongst other topics.
