My client is currently seeking two additional team members, one Investment Analyst and one Senior Investment Analyst, to join their investments division. Reporting to the Head of Economics & Research, these roles play a pivotal part in supporting the fund’s Investment division through sophisticated economic modelling, forecasts and outlooks that contribute to critical investment decisions.
In this role, you will monitor economic data, build research-driven models and conduct thematic macroeconomic and market analysis. You will synthesise global developments into actionable insights that support capital market assumptions and the strategic asset allocation process, while enhancing their research platform and communicating key findings to senior stakeholders and the Investment Committee. The successful candidates will have:
- 2-4 years' experience for the Investment Analyst or 6-10 years' experience for the Senior Investment Analyst, as an economist or a related financial markets role from public policy, consulting, investment banking or other investment-related disciplines
- An understanding of asset allocation, investment strategy and investment risk management
- Demonstrable experience building economic/econometric models and conducting economic research
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong integrity and work ethic
- Excellent academic results with a bachelor's degree in economics, econometrics, finance or mathematics
