This leading global financial institution is one of the world’s largest banks, operating globally integrated banking and global markets solutions to its diverse collective of corporate, financial institutional and investor clients. This includes M&A and Advisory, Structured Finance, Treasury Solutions, Leveraged Acquisition and Real Estate Finance, Debt Capital Markets and Securitisation. Their Global Markets business provides comprehensive capital markets, securities and investment banking services
Reporting to the Head of Debt Syndicate APAC, you will assist the debt syndication process, including public and private fixed income transactions, with focus on the Australian market, work closely with the debt capital market originators in Asia and globally in market updates, pitching and execution, as well the fixed income trading and distribution team in the coordination and marketing of primary fixed income transactions. You will also help on data/market analysis and research more broadly, as well as execute regular private placements and explore new investor markets.
Tertiary qualified with a degree in Business / Finance / or related discipline with strong understanding of financial markets, you will have ~4-8 years relevant experience in fixed income related roles e.g. debt/bond syndicate, DCM, or credit sales, ideally gained in the Australian market. You will have a solid working knowledge of fixed income through Asia, US and Europe, including a sound knowledge of the bond market and ideally overall financial market dynamics. Experience in derivatives will be favourably received. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently with other stakeholders locally, regionally and globally.
