An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director to join an organisation that has built an enviable track record over the last few years and has now loaned over $2 billion towards financing developments across diversified infrastructure, renewable/clean energy, real estate & property, agribusiness, natural resources and tourism. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Project Finance professional into their Sydney team to help drive and execute its investing and lending activity into the future.
The Associate Director will play an important role in the ongoing origination, evaluation, negotiation and execution of project finance transactions across Australia. Key responsibilities will include undertaking company and industry analysis; the initial screening of opportunities including preparation of investment papers and transaction documentation; undertaking financial modelling, analysis and due diligence and liaising with proponents and other stakeholders as needed.
For this role, you will likely bring 6-10 years’ relevant experience in a financial institution or similar, with a background in credit analysis, deal structuring and a proven track record executing a variety of project finance or corporate transactions. Through this experience, you will be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of financing concepts and the requisite financial modelling and analysis skills needed for this style of role.
