A globally respected private markets and alternative investment manager is inviting applications for a VP to SVP to play a genuinely pivotal role within its Institutional Distribution team in Singapore.

This appointment represents a rare opportunity to help shape the next phase of growth for a sophisticated, large‑scale investment manager recognised for institutional rigour, deep asset‑class expertise and long‑term capital solutions. The platform combines global reach with a strong investment culture delivering bespoke institutional strategies.

The role sits at the cutting edge of the firm’s Asia-Pacific initiatives, with a clear mandate to originate and raise capital across flagship private markets strategies while building trusted, long‑term partnerships with the region’s most influential institutional investors. Coverage spans insurance companies, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, banks, asset managers and other leading financial institutions across Southeast Asia.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in institutional capital formation / raising within Southeast Asia, combined with a highly technical, solution‑oriented mindset. This includes the ability to translate complex private markets strategies into bespoke, institution‑ready solutions, engage deeply on portfolio construction, risk, structuring and implementation considerations, and credibly articulate value propositions to sophisticated investment committees and senior stakeholders. Experience within a global asset manager, private markets or alternatives platform, investment bank or capital advisory environment (particularly where solutions have been tailored to specific client balance sheets or liability profiles) will be highly regarded. Broader exposure across liquid markets, multi‑asset solutions or institutional portfolio design will be viewed favourably.
