Our client is a global bank with strong presence and deep client relationships across Australia and globally. With extensive and specialised industry coverage and well-established business networks, they are strategically positioned for continued growth and are now looking to add an Associate to their Resources, Metals & Mining team in Sydney.
In this role, you will support senior team members locally and globally with deal origination and execution efforts across M&A, Strategic Advisory, Debt & Equity Capital Markets transactions. Responsibilities include valuation and financial modelling, performing strategic and market analysis, preparing critical board-level documentation, and managing client relationships both domestically and overseas. Working alongside highly respected industry specialists, you will benefit from exceptional mentoring with significant opportunities for professional development.
The ideal candidate will have:
• 3-6 years of M&A/Corporate Finance experience from an Investment Bank, Independent Corporate Advisory firm, Corporate Development or Big 4 M&A teams.
• Strong financial modelling & financial analysis experience
• Strong integrity & work ethic
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related disciplines
