• Highly Reputable Global Organisation
• Strong Transaction Exposure
• Exposure to a broad range of asset classes
Our client is an iconic investment platform that boasts a global reach and access to large scale capital that is supported by deep operational expertise. Their investment track record is second to none, with their Asia Pacific mandate performing well beyond expectations, with Australia as its central hub. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Analyst to join a high-performing team focused on structuring and executing innovative debt financing solutions across a range of asset classes. Supporting both acquisitions and ongoing portfolio management, this role provides broad exposure to complex capital structures and cross-industry deal flow. You will work closely with deal teams, portfolio companies, senior stakeholders, and external capital providers, playing a key part in the development and execution of bespoke financing strategies.
In this role, you will assist in optimising capital structures, supporting the sourcing, structuring, and execution of various debt capital solutions including bank loans, public bonds, private credit facilities, and asset-backed financing. You will be involved in transaction due diligence, preparation of presentation materials, and coordination of Q&A processes with banks and credit investors. Managing data rooms and supporting transaction execution alongside legal, operational, and financial advisors will also form part of your remit.
Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining financial models to assess debt capacity and evaluate capital structure options. You will track market benchmarks and trends across the debt capital markets and contribute to internal reporting. The role also includes supporting risk management initiatives and collaborating with portfolio company management teams to deliver ongoing financing solutions, including those related to acquisitions, refinancings, and capital structure reviews. You will be expected to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders as well as with external capital providers and consultants.
To be successful, you will hold a tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce or Economics and have 1–4 years of relevant experience within debt capital markets, project or leveraged finance, structured finance, corporate lending, or a debt advisory environment. Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities are essential, along with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. You will bring a sound understanding of financing structures and risk management frameworks, and be detail-oriented, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple deadlines under pressure. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential, as is the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. A strong sense of personal integrity, accountability, and high ethical standards are also vital to your success in this role.
If you are looking to deepen your experience in capital markets or leveraged finance and work in a dynamic, high-impact environment, I would love to hear from you.
You must have full working rights in Australia to be considered.
