• Opportunity to work with iconic ASX-listed business
• Clear growth agenda across a diverse range of sectors
• Combination of M&A, Strategy & Value Creation
• Unmatched career development opportunities into senior leadership roles
Our client is an iconic Australian brand and an ASX-listed corporate with a clear mandate to drive M&A, strategy and value creation activity across the group. The Corporate Development function is currently seeking VP/Director level professionals to join their well-established and experienced team to help provide oversight and direction to a range of growth initiatives.
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly acquisitive business that will allow you to drive deal activity, strategic initiatives and business-enhancing projects that will directly impact the firm’s growth trajectory across a diverse portfolio. The corporate development function has great visibility and access to the Executive team and will be drawn upon to advise on broader strategic direction and developments. You’ll be able to work with a diverse range of stakeholders across a business and be able to influence and build meaningful relationships as well as manage external advisory relationships.
We are looking for individuals with circa 7-10 years’ experience in roles that have required significant financial, strategic and commercial skills and some exposure to an end-to-end deal environment. You will be comfortable leading transactions, engaging and influencing stakeholders and mentoring less experienced team members. In light of this, you will have gained experience in investment banking, corporate advisory, management consulting or broader corporate development/strategy. You will have built a demonstrable financial acumen and have a strong foundation in financial modelling through your earlier years and will therefore have a deep technical expertise underpinning your transaction capability and commercial capabilities.
Applicants must have full working rights in place for Australia to be considered.
