Our client is an ASX listed corporate with a strong agenda to drive M&A, Investment and Joint Venture activity for the group. Their group Corporate Development function is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join their well-established and experienced team to help provide expertise and oversight to transaction execution and assessment of investment and JV activity.
This is a unique opportunity to step outside of sell aside advisory and join a highly inquisitive business that will allow you to drive deal activity and support the business in its growth trajectory over a range of its business units. The team has great visibility to the Executive team and will be drawn upon to advise on the broader strategic initiatives of the group. You’ll be able to work with a diverse range of stakeholders across a business and be able to influence and build meaningful relationships as well as manage external advisory relationships.
With 8-10 years’ experience working in an end to end deal environment, you will be comfortable leading transaction execution and will be able to mentor less experienced team members. You will have gained some exposure to Project Financing as well as having core corporate finance deal experience. You will have gained experience from investment banking / corporate advisory / infrastructure or energy Funds or from a Project Finance deal role. You will have built a strong foundation in financial modelling during your earlier years and will therefore have a deep technical expertise underpinning your transaction capability and commercial capabilities. Candidates will ideally have worked across Energy, Renewables, Infrastructure as sector coverage.
