Our client is a successful boutique private lending, investment manager and developer that pride themselves on their commercial approach with a complementing investment, development and construction track record. Offering fast and flexible debt solutions as an alternative to mainstream banks.
As a key senior hire, you will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work alongside the leadership team, including the Capital Raising and Investor Relations specialist in further developing the firm’s distribution strategy and playing a crucial contribution to the firm’s growth.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing business, driving and managing the firm’s overall lending portfolio and delivering alternative debt solutions to clients across Australia. You will be responsible for prospecting new business opportunities, retaining and managing existing relationships. In addition to this a key aspect of the role will to be conduct credit analysis and underwriting on lead opportunities and negotiation of loan terms in alignment to the firm’s investment criteria.
The successful candidate will have sound academics (appropriate tertiary qualification, CFA highly regarded) with 10 + years’ experience gained in bank or financial institution with proven track record in business development and origination and an advanced knowledge in commercial real estate. Proven management and leadership experience, preferably developing and mentoring juniors and excellent communication and presentation skills are imperative with a self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset.
