• Assist with Macro Research
Our client, a highly regarded investment manager is seeking to add a talented, passionate and commercially astute Investment Analyst to the investment team, performing research on international companies, predominantly within the financial sector.
Research will be conducted through the review of company materials, meeting and visiting companies, attending industry conferences and discussions with experts and sell side analysts. Analysts will be expected to develop a deep understanding of their coverage area and be able to clearly communicate well-formed views on investment debates and risks to Portfolio Managers that contribute to the success of the fund.
Coupled with the company research and analysis, the Analyst will also assist in monitoring and assessing the investment implications of geopolitical and macro events.
Qualifications and experience:
• 3-5 years relevant Investment Analyst experience involving company coverage
• Strong financial modelling (Excel) skills & understanding of financial statements
• Strong written (Word) & verbal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate logical thought process & 2nd degree thinking
• Academic qualifications of a high standard
