Our client is a substantial (multi $billion) investment fund deploying debt and equity in their mandate to support innovation and growth in the broader manufacturing domain. Select industry sectors include Renewables, Resources, Transport, Defence, Agriculture, Forestry and Medical Science.
Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, and leading a small team, you will be a senior member of the broader Investment team. You will be charged with establishing and fostering relationships and partnerships across the investment industry including banks, funds, and government agencies. A key driver is developing a pipeline of partnership for investments across debt and equity. In addition, as part of the leadership team you will be involved in broader strategic planning, execution, relationship building, and partnership due diligence. Stakeholder management and people engagement are critical to success in this position.
Tertiary qualified with 15-20+ years of relevant financial services and/or investment experience, you will have a proven track record of investment pipeline development and relationship building. It is expected that you have and can leverage excellent existing relationships in the broader investment industry with a strong working knowledge of some/all of the above industry sectors. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, highly developed presentation skills and a proven track record in monetising partnerships. Operating on a consistent high tempo, you will demonstrate efficient pipeline development and management deadlines. This role commands you to be highly curious, collaborative, action-orientated and tenacious.
