About the Opportunity

This highly renowned international bank, with a well-established and successful Australian business are currently looking to add an Analyst to their Leveraged Finance and Debt Capital Markets team in Sydney.

As an Analyst you will be part of a small team dedicated to supporting capital markets activities through deal co-ordination and arrangement of finance, with a strong execution focus.  You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with sponsors/issuers, as well as with internal and external stakeholders. Working directly for highly experienced Directors and Managing Directors, these roles represent an opportunity to be part of high-profile market transactions, with the ability to support cross-border transactions through the bank’s global network.

As a successful Analyst, you will have completed a full graduate rotation programme, having spent at least 6 months (ideally) within Institutional Banking, Leveraged Finance, DCM or Securitisation teams.  A solid understanding of credit analysis and financial modelling is highly desirable, as is deal execution and documentation experience.

You need to be a confident communicator who enjoys working in a fast-paced energetic global banking environment with high-level client and transaction exposure.  To make the most of this opportunity you will have a strong desire to learn and develop your skills as you work with market leaders who in turn can help propel your career.
